Tiger Gutierrez was a student at UNM, studying FDMA. Tiger started playing volleyball at The ASK Academy in high school and has been playing sports his entire life. Because Tiger went to a charter school, he was allowed to play other Varsity sports like soccer, wrestling, and track, at Rio Rancho High School. Tiger started playing at E3 his senior year of high school with the U16-18 girls teams during summer clinics and continued to learn from the coaching staff here at E3. Tiger started coaching at E3 found a love for coaching. Tiger had hopes to continue coaching at E3 for as long as possible and hoped to teach his players the love of sports and the importance of being an athlete, not just physically, but mentally.
Sadly, we lost Tiger on July 1, 2024. He will be missed by all at E3.
